Your Thailand adventure tour is led by Art Maliyam a native of Thailand who speaks fluent English. Art moved to the U.S. in 1999 to work and live on the Outer Banks of North Carolina. His easy going nature and ability to get along with everyone make him the perfect tour guide in this magical land.

Art will show you all aspects of Thailand, from the big city of Bangkok to the restful beaches of Koh Samet. You travel to the mountain town of Chang Mai where you'll sample some of the best Thai food in the country and explore the vibrant night markets that line the streets. Be prepared for a once in a lifetime adventure as you ride atop elephants at a national conservation center. Accommodation during your stay is taken care of in 4 and 5 star hotels across the country! Travel Day

Pick up travelers from the airport and transfer to the hotel

Day 1

Bangkok Floating Market: Morning tours by small boat along the Bangkok rivers. You'll have a chance to sample fresh fruit, food, and sweet palm juice extracted straight from the local trees. Prepare your taste buds for a sensual experience!
Grand Palace: Constructed in 1782, this majestic palace was built as a home for the Kings. While the King no longer lives here the residence is still in use for many ceremonies and events. You'll see this magnificent structure and grounds firsthand. Take a sneak peak on Flickr before you go!

Day 2

Koh Samet Island: Now that you're well-rested you'll set off for a day spent breathing fresh ocean air, snorkeling the reefs of the island, and eating fresh seafood from a local restaurant.
Speedboat Tour: you'll travel by speedboat around Samet throughout the day.

Day 3

Explore Pattaya: You'll journey to the city of Pattaya which sits along the turquoise blue bay about 135 km from Bangkok.
Mini Siam: Your guide will let you explore the miniature model replicas of the city of Siam (now called Bangkok). You'll receive a bit of history and have a chance to wander the gardens.
Underwater World: Your eyes will be amazed with the underwater life that exists outside the glass sea floor tunnel that is part of Underwater World. Fish, coral, sharks, sea anemones, and more!
Night Plaza: this is Pattaya's "walking street" and it offers something for everyone. Get ready for an night of entertainment. Select from one of the many of the food stands that prepare Pad Thai cheaper and better then you've ever had it before. For the adventure eaters you're bound to find something to entice you. There area also jewelry, clothing, and craft stalls in the plaza .... so shopping is a definite possibility.

Day 4 - 6

Travel to Chiang Mai: Your private VIP van will take you to what is perhaps Thailand's most culturally significant cities located in Northern Thailand amongst the mountains. You'll love Chiang Mai!
Doi Suthep: You'll journey to the top of this mountain and experience a Buddhist temple that dates back to 1383. Many people revere this sacred spot as a pilgrimage spot and you can use this knowledge to carry yourself to the top of the peak. For those who's prefer to reflect without exercising an automatic pay cart will can also transport you to the top!
Sun Kum Pang / Chiang Mai: This is the umbrella spot. You'll see how these colorful umbrellas are crafted and have the chance to take one home with you.
Elephant Conservation Center: Get ready for a lifetime experience as you participate in an elephant show that you'll remember forever... plus lots of surprises!

Day 7

Travel to Bangkok: If time allows we will stop at the temples in Ayutthaya city. This temple was constructed in 1448 and is still in incredible condition. It has also been called "one of the grandest of all Thailand temples".
Khol San Road: this is one of the well known stomping grounds in Bangkok made popular by scenes in "The Beach". Expect to meet lots of fellow travelers, vendors, tuk tuks and more!

Day 8

Jewelry and Custom Suit Tailoring: Have you ever wanted to have a custom suit made for you? Here's your chance to have it done cheaply and by expert Thailand craftsmen. We'll arrange an appointment to visit a tailor as well as make a short jewelry stop to make sure those looking for a sparkling souvenir to take home can find something special. Even if you're not buying you'll enjoy seeing how these crafts are made.
Soun Sam Pan or (Nakhon Pathom): Be prepared to see alligators and elephants do things you've never seen before in your life!
Bangkok Dinner Cruise: It may be your final night in Bangkok but there are still some sites to see. The night view of the temples and bridges that you may have seen by day will delight you. Cruise slowly down the Chao Phraya river and soak up your last moments in this magical land.
