The Mentawai Islands

The Mentawai Islands offer some of the best surf to be found anywhere on earth. These islands attract swells all year round with the most consistent season generally being between March and November. Waves vary in size from 2 to 12 foot with the average wave height being about 6 foot. This region can also get BIG swells with up to 16 feet. These islands are blessed with some of the most consistent, user-friendly surf in the world. From a-walk-in-the-park beginner waves to the suicide waves only the real pro could tackle. Today you still have the opportunity to surf perfect waves is this surf rich area. The Mentawai Islands continue to producing uncrowded line-ups, which are scattered amongst a vast array of reefs, point breaks and secluded bays. On a world scale, the Mentawai Islands has a 91% chance of scoring epic waves, compared with Hawaii (76%) and Australia around 80%.

There's alot of surf spot around these islands with a thousand waves everyday. The Aileoita II is going into its 4th season of surf charters with a veteran crew which have been operating charter boats, from and to the Mentawai islands, Telo islands, Nias islands, Hinako islands, and more for the past 10 years.

They have lots of experience, extensive knowledge of the new surf spots formed by the uplifting of the seabeds and they knew several secret surf spots unknown by the others.

The Oasis is a the newest boat in the Mentawai Island. This is her third season, but she comes with a seasoned crew and surf guide!

She is 17 foot speedboat with 85HP outboard and each cabin is private and air conditioned. The deck is incredible. Runs the entire length of the boat. Lots of room. You will love the space!

Prices and Rules

Low Season Prices:

• $2,300 per person for 10 Passengers....$23,000 per group
• $2,875 per person for 8 Passengers....$23,000 per group
• $230 per person per day

High Season Prices:

• $2,500 for 10 Passengers....$25,000 per group
• $3,125 for 8 Passengers....$25,000 per group
• $250 per person per day

Rules:

• $500 USD deposit is required at the time of booking
• Deposits are non-refundable
• Final payment balance is due 90 days prior to departure
• $100 penalty for late payments
• Failure to pay balance as specified can result in loss of booking dates and/or deposit

Cancellation Policy:

Any cancellation made by the client will be refunded as follows:

• 30 – 15 days before departure: 70% of total payment will be returned
• 14 – 8 days prior to departure: 50% of total payment will be returned
• 7 – 0 days prior to departure: No Refund

Cancellation of a trip must be made 60 days prior to your departure date. There are no refunds or partial refunds given for early departures from a designated charter, poor surf, or inclement weather. In addition, there are no refunds given for reasons pertaining to unstable global, national, or local political situations. Failure to pay your balance as specified will result in your loss of booking dates and or your deposit. Should you need to cancel for emergency reasons, you will be able to use your money toward another trip in the future.
