EL SALVADOR SURF ADVENTURE

Situated on top of the point in Las Flores, El Salvador is the "Las Flores Palms Surf Club" which will be serve as your home base for your next Central American surf adventure. "Las Flores" literally translated as "Beautiful Beach" is surrounded by overgrown palm and mango trees lining the shore with its amazing dark sand, with a mirrored finish at low tides. This is truely an unique surf adventure. In addition to experience the surf and natural flow of the beach at Las Flores on your own you'll have a private guide help available to introduce you to the local area.

Keep in mind that in addition to surfing you, your family and friends are able to take advantage of our Surf Lessons, Yoga, Horse Back Riding, Hiking (Volcano Hike), and Eco-Tours that allow you to visit the estuary. Count on getting to know the friendly staff that work and live in Las Flores, a small community about 3 minutes from the small town of El Cuco in the San Miguel providence. Situated on 9 acres the view from the top of the point is like no other. You'll enjoy swimming in the pool and you check the surf below.

The Surf

Las Flores offers some of the best surf in El Salvador with El Cuco Beach Break, Punta Las Flores, La Ventana, Lucky Man, La Vaca, Playa Negras, Punta Bongo, Punta Mango and Toro De Oro. There are even some secret spots which your surf adventure will include when the right swell and weather patterns align. Understand that there are plenty of uncrowded waves in the East of El Salvador, although the main attractions are Punta Las Flores and Punta Mango. Most surf spots are accessible by car, but you must have an operator with boat access to surf Punta Mango and other less publicized breaks.

The best season for beginners is November to March, with the season starting with larger surf mid March to October. Although during the high season the surf is larger, there are several surf spots we can take beginners so we offer surf lessons and surf schools year round.

Las Flores can get busy with a bit of a crowd at times during peak season, but with all the mentioned surf spots above we can assure you a great surf adventure and memories of a lifetime. Our surf tours offer 4×4 and boat access to all breaks so we always have the logistics covered. Our boat charters can be booked anytime during the day so our guest can choose when they want to surf and where.

Surfing Las Flores is an amazing experience, the wave is so fun and rippable even the youngest of surfers will have the time of their lives.

Accommodation

The Las Flores Surf Club sits above the wave at Las Flores Point, overlooking three right hand point breaks offering the best of Las Flores. When you arrive through the canopied swaying palms and walk out to the edge of the point you know you arrived in paradise. On the south side of the property you can view the entire coastline with amazing views of Honduras and Nicaragua, in the distance. You will not find another property like this in the area of Las Flores. This is a one of a kind location where you can take long walks on the beach; enjoy surf fishing or asking our staff to charter a boat so you can enjoy an evening out on the water with your special someone.

The pool overlooking the ocean allows our guest to simply escape the Central American heat with a quick dip or relaxing time with your friends and favorite beverages. The staff is at your service and will ensure you are comfortable maximizing your stay at Las Flores Palms as you prepare for your adventures.

Las Flores Palms will host a maximum of 20 guests in shared or private rooms so we can handle the smallest to largest groups here in Las Flores. The private guest rooms will host 2 guests per room with shared up to 4 guests per room. All guest rooms can be customized to meet anyone’s needs or requests.

Guest rooms feature new beds, bedding and oversize pillows, and private or shared bathrooms. Three of our ocean view rooms open out to the patio where you can sit, relax and enjoy the views of surfing Las Flores. High-speed wireless Internet service is available throughout the property.

The kitchen staff will ensure you have Coffee at 5:30 A.M. with cereal, local fruits and breads, followed by a hearty breakfast after your surf. Lunch will be served in the dining area or around the pool, or packed in cooler if you choose to take a boat trip to Punta Mango. Your evening will be coupled with a happy hour Ceviche before your dinner is served. Nothing but the freshest local foods, including "catch of the day" seafood is used in the food we prepare for our seafood loving guests.

Rules:

• Surf Tours are all inclusive with the exception of Alcohol Beverages
• Groups must arrive within a hour of each other, if not an additional airport transfer fee of $125.00 will be added
• $500 USD deposit is required at the time of booking
• Deposits are non-refundable
• Final payment balance is due 30 days prior to departure
• $100 penalty for late payments
• Failure to pay balance as specified can result in loss of booking dates and/or deposit

Cancellation Policy:

Any cancellation made by the client will be refunded as follows:

• 30 – 15 days before departure: 70% of total payment will be returned
• 14 – 8 days prior to departure: 50% of total payment will be returned
• 7 – 0 days prior to departure: No Refund

Cancellation of a trip must be made 30 days prior to your departure date. There are no refunds or partial refunds given for early departures from a designated charter, poor surf, or inclement weather. In addition, there are no refunds given for reasons pertaining to unstable global, national, or local political situations. Failure to pay your balance as specified will result in your loss of booking dates and or your deposit. Should you need to cancel for emergency reasons, you will be able to use your money toward another trip in the future.
