Surf Adventure Tours is focused on bringing our clients to the magical lands of Thailand and Indonesia, specifically the Mentawai island chain and new for this fall 2011 the Outer Banks! We have created several very exciting adventures for you to add to your lifetime experiences. Expect lots of time in the natural world seeing lots of new things whether you select a Thailand adventure tour or a Mentawai surf charter or a sand barrel-filled getaway to the OBX. We have developed trips working with the local communities because our guides are locals and have always been a part of these communities.

Our guides comb the beaches of the Outer Banks to find the best sand spitting toobs for each swell so you don't have too. We work hard to put you in the best spot each day and let you experience some of the great solitude that the Outer Banks has to offer.

Bring your best mates, wife or family to one of the world's ultimate surf destinations. Situated on the South-Eastern Peninsula of Java in the National Park Reserve of “Alas Purwo” our Camp is nestled in a jungle teeming with wildlife and only 100 meters from the legendary waves of G-land! Our camp was founded in 1990 and has built a reputation on providing quality service at affordable prices to surfers for the last 20 years.

As your guide, Art Maliyam, a Thailand native will show you all aspects of Thailand, from the big city to the restful beaches and many historic and cultural sites.

Our boats take you up and down the Mentawai coastline where you'll surf lifetime waves with surfers from all over the globe. As we all know the Mentawai islands offer some of the best surf on planet and a boat trip ensures that you'll be able to reach spots that otherwise are inaccessible. These islands attracts swells all year round with the most consistent season generally being between March and November.

Our Mentawai surf camp on the is designed to give you many of the same surfing experiences that you'd get on a boat charter at a reduced cost. You'll have a boat on standby for personal use around the camp and an experienced surf guide to rely on as you negotiate some of the most challenging waves of your live. Don't worry it's not all insane barrels....there well still be plenty of time for just plain fun surf.

Trekking through the wet and muddy Mentawai jungle is truly a once in a lifetime experience, imagine swimming in the tropical river, swinging from vines, soaking in mud baths and learning to sing traditional songs along the way. Don't worry its not too strenuous so you don't have to be too fit to trek the Mentawai jungles!
